I'm a 63 year old man. I published my first book 5 years ago titled, 50 Years of Comet Basketball. I decided to write this book using the stories drawn from things that happened in my lifetime. Most of the stories are based on events that did happen, with a few added twists and turns. Although this book is not a memoir, I have been told it reads like one. I believe every person has a book in them that needs to be written. Every day we spend is like a page in our life book. We wake in the morning, the page starts, we go to bed at night and when we wake the page is turned. Then as our days go by we have chapters that mark the changes from child to adulthood until our final chapter is written. I encourage everyone to put their life story into print. My hope is that everyone that reads this book will garner some small enjoyment from its pages and possibly inspire someone else to do the same. I read once a quote, "No passion in the writer, no passion in the reader!" Danny Wayne Henderson
