D.S. WHITE is an avid reader and the former proprietor of an online African-American bookstore and wholesale website. Unfortunately, she did not have a back up plan for September 11, 2001. Over the years she has tried her hand at parenting, acting, singing, dancing, modeling, cosmetology and sales. She is still a parent, sings with a trio, dances as she does laundry, cuts her family’s hair, gives them haircare advice and works nine to five as a Leasing Consultant for the complex in which she lives.
