Born and raised in the Midwest, Diana became a professional genealogist at the age of 18 and has continued to do genealogy for over 40 years. She is one of the original creators of the World Gen Web and has completed more than 10 one-name studies as well as thousands of hours doing research for her own family, and others. Diana Muir is also an educator and pioneer in online education. She is widely published in academic realms with papers on distance education, online education and the future of technology and social change. A former member of the military, Diana is also a retired veteran and now focuses on her grandchildren and genealogy research.
