About
Helene Dompierre
I love traveling and will travel just about anywhere! I visited most continents (just South America left), in particular Europe and North America. I love food, I am a Cordon Bleu de Paris Pastry chef, and as a travel journalist, I try to find the perfect meal everywhere I go. I also like writing books about our experiences while traveling, such as our year in Germany: we had to learn the language, as well as where to go to buy something specific, even how to use the Geld machine (the Bank machine). But what a fantastic experience! I also, as a teacher, love to write for children; to see their eyes full of curiosity and the little light when I understand a new concept. Recently, I started writing about life as a child growing up in the 60s and 70s in Quebec, Canada. I hope that you will enjoy my small contributions to travel books, children books and Quebec life in 60s and 70s! Tschüs!
