I never know what to say on these "about" pages. I am not good at this at all. So here goes...I was born and raised in East Tennessee and have lived here pretty much my whole life. I am a wife, and mother of two children and work full-time in finance. I am not an expert on autoimmune diseases and I am not a doctor so any information you read in my books are on what I have gathered mainly for myself and for others out there who ask me too. Two years ago I became sicker than I have ever been in my life. For three weeks I was battling nausea, and stomach pain and was unable to eat anything but crackers and water. My life changed drastically when I developed my first autoimmune disease. I never even knew what autoimmune meant. While this book gives you just a small glimpse into what started my autoimmune diseases I am hoping it will at minimum help someone realize that if you are predisposed to autoimmune that you will learn to take better care of your body before it's too late.
