Michael Squires is an Australian writer born in Canada. Michael began his writing career producing speeches for politicians and corporate executives. Soon, Michael was asked to assist with the script for a major motion picture. His work on the motion picture earned him encouragement to pursue more writing. At the time, writing was not his main focus and Michael travelled extensively around the world on business. During these travels Michael was attracted to the world of global politics and decided to write about his adventures. His first published work was the internationally well received DRAGONS IN THE SURF, which he began writing in 1995. This was followed by a raunchy political expose, The Faction. Michael is currently working on the sequel to Dragons and a screen play.
