Katherine Rose DeMatteo is eleven years old. She lives with her parents and two younger brothers in Manhattan, New York. This sixth grader has been making up stories since she was young. Katherine's dream is to be a New York Times Bestselling Author, but she also never wants to grow up. She thinks creativity and inner youth go hand in hand when being a writer. "I don't know what I'd do without my imagination," Katherine says. Her hobbies include but are not limited to writing (obviously), reading, participating in the drama club at her school, and hanging out with friends and family.
