Eric L. Davis, DSW, LCSW, LCAC, is a licensed psychotherapist, educator, and recognized leader in addiction recovery and mental health treatment. He serves as Executive Director of Waypost Counseling and as an adjunct faculty member at the Indiana University School of Social Work. In 2004, Dr. Davis co-founded Life Recovery Center and served as its Executive Director for two decades, guiding its expansion and impact until its merger with MHAI in 2024. He earned a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Barry University, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Indianapolis. He also earned a PhD in Christian Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University, allowing him to integrate faith-informed perspectives into his work when appropriate.
