Tracy Gunter, was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 1960. He moved to Georgia in 1968 and lived there till 1983, then moved to San Francisco. TR Gunter worked in restaurants and food co-ops around the country till his mid‐thirties, retiring to the jungles of Maui to become immersed in permaculture and Hawaiian traditional herbalism (Lāʻau Lapaʻau). Tracy currently lives in Berkeley, California where he curates, sources, edits, writes, and publishes books for Elf Magick Multimedia. Elf Magick Multimedia are curators, collectors, designers, purveyors, producers, sourcing vintage esoteric, occult, lore and legend in art, film, music, magic, and the written word.
