Hello, my name is Emily Rowden Fournier. I was born and raised in central Maine, which I consider a highlight of life experiences. I love the way of life here. Being so close to the coast, mountains, city (Portland), and country is such a wonderful opportunity. I have been writing poetry my whole life and have always been drawn to the poems of others. I am a graduate of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics and received my bachelor's degree in English Literature from Saint Anselm College. This education has truly shaped and expanded my view of the world, which has turned me into a greater writer. When not sitting with a pen in my hand, scratching on whatever paper-like surface I can find, I enjoy photography, singing, dancing, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with my loving husband, Joshua, our dog, Sparta, and my large family. I hope everyone who reads this book, or even just one poem, finds something to love about it. My poems are written from
