About
Emma Stace
Emma was born in Sussex, England, in the spring, with a great sense of humour, fortunately. She danced, sang, and played the cello and the piano. It was quite clear from a very early age that the theatre was where she belonged, since she found complete fulfilment in expressing herself in this way. Then she went to a London music academy to study classical singing but, feeling too restrained, she left. Classical acting followed, Emma loved Shakespearean roles most, and Emma worked in television and radio, finding voice-over work great fun. And Emma seemed to be a nautral comic, too. The natural progression was to go into musical theatre, though the reality at that time slightly disappointed her. Emma then started to write her own songs at the piano, immediately feeling very at home in the creative medium, performing her songs widely, and then recording some of her prolific output. Emma paints prolifically. And is an haut-chocolat critic. Emma loves to sit in churches for hours and hours.
