Dr. Eric Leif Davin is an award-winning historian who teaches labor and political history at the University of Pittsburgh. He won the Eugene V. Debs Foundation Literature Prize for his essay, "The Very Last Hurrah: The Defeat of the Labor Party Idea, 1934-1936," in "We Are All Leaders: The Alternative Unionism of the Early 1930s," Ed. by Staughton Lynd, University of Illinois Press. He is also an award-winning science fiction and fantasy writer and genre historian.
