About
Erricka Bridgeford
Erricka Bridgeford is a mother, grandmother, mediator, teacher, and truth-teller who has devoted her life to helping people remember their wholeness. As a co-founder of the Baltimore Peace Movement (formerly Baltimore Ceasefire 365), she has inspired thousands of people to practice peace and transform conflict in ways that ripple through families and communities. Erricka’s work as Executive Director of the Baltimore Community Mediation Center has created spaces where voices long silenced find healing, and where disagreements can be resolved without violence. Her leadership in mediation and community healing has been recognized nationally, but what she cherishes most is the deep love shared with her ancestors, the tribe she's acquired through both blood ties and heart ties, and the city of Baltimore. These harmonize to form the heartbeat behind her legacy. Through her words, rituals, and presence, Erricka continues to remind the world that peace is possible, and that every new version of ourselves deserves to be loved.
