In life we absorb all sorts of sights, sounds and experiences much like a sponge. Writing is the release valve within me for expressing these encounters whereby the outward flow of ink from my pen marries what I observe both objectively and subjectively. However the cognitive measure of prose is usually clothed in fictional form and sprinkled with smatterings of metaphor to bring about comprehension and clarity to broader subjects and I like to use the irrefutable truths that are found in the natural world to speak to our hearts and minds in an unconscious manner. I have written all my life as it is in my blood, my raison d'etre. Chronic illness of late, however, has given me an awareness of the frailty and fragility of morality which has accelerated the need to touch, move and inspire through the written word. I have written for various media in the past, but The Bear and The Snake is my first e-book. Coming soon is an anthology of poems and biographical fiction.
