Born: in the Philippines I enjoyed reading literary books and poetry at a very young age. My first poem was written when I was in grade school. I continued to write every chance I get and had shelfed my writings until I retired from my professional career. I self-published my first book “Within the Depths of My Heart” in 2024. This is a compilation of selected poems I have written until its publication. The poems were written during various times and emotions in my life. My writings are enriched by my experiences as a mother of four from my husband of forty-seven years. Started self-publishing after I retired from the United States federal government after almost 34 years as a civilian employee. Held various acquisition positions in supply, healthcare and software engineering.
