J.Fadul has retired from teaching in 2017; he was affiliated with De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde and the University of the Philippines. He was a member of the International Sociological Association (ISA) for a number of years. Currently, he is CEO of Christian Compassion Ministries Foundation, Inc.
