Brenda Garacci is a reading specialist in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her poem,"Greater Than That," received the President's Award for Literary Excellence, and "The Clock in the Hallway" took 1st place in the C. J. Wilkes National Writing Contest, sponsored by RAINN. She hold master's degrees in English as well as secondary teaching.
