Hi! I'm Gisele Marasca, an author, blogger, contributing writer, poet and storyteller. I'm also a hypno-coach, teacher and intuitive healer. I'm proud to be "A Brazil Nut"—hence the name of my Substack. Allow me to elaborate: I'm originally from Brazil and an obsessive-compulsive (OCPD), neurodivergent, functional perfectionist, HSP/empath. In other words, an exotic blend of… crazy ;) I'm the former co-owner of Creative Angle Media, a graphic design and publishing company, and co-publisher of Ahora/Now Orlando Magazine, a semi-annual bilingual publication showcasing Orlando's Hispanic community for seven years (2003–2010). I also contributed articles and commentary columns to the magazine. In 2024, I co-authored Guided Imagery/Hypnotherapy for Healthcare: We Can Make a Difference with my mentor and former teacher, Linda Bennett (available through Lulu Global Distribution and Amazon). In 2025, I published my first solo poetry book, Passionate & Proud Poems, a collection of poems reflecting on identity, belonging and empowerment—an intimate celebration of living fully and without apology. My other published work includes articles for Natural Awakenings magazine's Central Florida/Orlando edition, award-winning poems and poems featured in the Poets Unleashed anthology. Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to explore my creative world. Who knows what this Brazil Nut will come up with next? ;) Cheers, Gisele
