Hi! I'm Gisele Marasca, a book author, blog writer, contributing writer, poet and story teller; I'm also a hypno-coach, teacher and intuitive healer. I’m proud to be a Brazil nut; hence the name of my Substack. Allow me to elaborate: I’m originally from Brazil, and I’m an obsessive-compulsive (OCPD), neurodivergent (Sensory Processing Disorder), functional perfectionist, HSP/empath, exotic blend of… crazy ;) I'm the former co-owner of Creative Angle Media, a graphic design and publishing company, and co-publisher of Ahora/Now Orlando Magazine, a semi-annual bilingual magazine that showcased Orlando’s Hispanic community and was published for seven years (from 2003 to 2010). I also contributed articles and commentary columns to the magazine. In 2024, I co-authored the book Guided Imagery/Hypnotherapy for Healthcare: We Can Make a Difference with my mentor and former teacher Linda Bennett (available through Lulu Global Distribution and Amazon). In 2025, I published my first solo poetry book, Passionate & Proud Poems; each piece is a reflection on identity, belonging, and empowerment—an intimate celebration of living fully and without apology. Other works: I contributed articles to the Central Florida/Orlando edition of Natural Awakenings magazine; won awards for some of my poems and had some poems published as part of a poetry anthology (Poets Unleashed).
