About
Good Kids
Good Kids was born from a shared vision between two lovers of literature and education. Her story is an ode to perseverance and passion for making a difference in children's lives through books. Both founders met while working at a nonprofit dedicated to children's literacy in underserved communities. Their shared experience led them to realize the transformative power of reading in a child's life. However, they also noted a gap in the availability of books that effectively address the concerns and challenges that children face in modern society. Determined to close that gap, Emma and Lucas founded Good Kids with a clear mission: to provide children with access to books that not only entertained them, but also inspired, educated and empowered them. They firmly believed that every child deserves to have access to stories that reflect their own experiences and challenges, as well as provide them with positive role models. The brand not only limited itself to publishing books, but also embarked on community initiatives to bring the magic of reading to places where it was needed most. They organized reading events, donated books to local schools and libraries, and even established tutoring programs to foster a love of reading from an early age.
