I grew up in the small town of Emporium, Pa. Writing had always been a passion of mine and something I excelled at. It wasn't until eighth grade when I discovered I could do more with my writing. My English teacher started to notice how talented I was and pushed for me to keep working at my gift. I was the English 8 girl that year. I was chosen in 1998 as a United States National Award winner in English and had my picture featured in the United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook. I have since released twelve books and have written for the Bennett's Valley Newspaper (a Christian paper), out of Weedville, Pa. in the past for a short time. I attended Cameron County High school from 1996-1998. Finishing out my high school years by being home schooled and graduated in 2002. I am hoping to one day be hired as a lyricist. I have been writing for twenty-six years.
