Jaime (Jailynn) Ruiz is a Colorado native, wife of more than 30 years, mother of 5 children, and a proud Nana. Growing up in Colorado, she developed an early connection to nature, plants, and our roots-both literal and figurative -have something to teach us. Her path into caring for others began in healthcare, where she worked in several hands-on patient-care roles before continuing her education and deepening a lifelong interest in holistic medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Health Sciences and an Associate of Applied Science in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from the American College of Healthcare Sciences. Today, Jaime is the founder of Healing Charms Botanicals, where her background in caring for others blends with her love of nature, creativity, and intentional living. What began we a small apothecary has grown to include journals and planners personally designed by Jaime, along with her expanding work as an author. Her writing and designs are inspired by real life- the beautiful parts, the messy parts, the healing parts, and everything in between. Whether she is writing, creating, working with plants, or spending time with her family, Jaime remains drawn to the things that have always grounded her: nature, her roots, helping others, and finding a little magic in everyday life.
