Lefteris E. Heretakis MA RCA is a designer, educator and founder of The New Art School and the Design Education Forum. He has spent more than 35 years working across design and education, teaching and advising art and design institutions internationally. Since 2019, he has hosted Design Education Talks, a podcast exploring how designers learn, make and shape the world around them. A Companion of the Guild of St George, Heretakis draws on John Ruskin’s ideas about seeing, work and responsibility. His writing asks how art and design education can develop independent judgment, moral imagination and the ability to think through making in an age of automation.
