I am an Asisstant Professor in English teaching at Kalyani Mahavidyalaya in the district of Nadia in West Bengal in India. I completed my M.A from the University of Calcutta in 1995, and then did LL.B from Burdwan University. After completing my education I worked for three years as an officer under the Government of West Bengal before joining his current occupation. I love creative writing, photography, and trekking in the Garhwal Himalayas, and have at present blended my passion for trekking with research on Folk Mahabharata in the Garhwal Himalayas. I regularly publish articles, stories, poetry, and travelogues on Webzines. I am a teacher by profession, however I consider myself a student in the school of Life.
