Katrina Franklin was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where she currently resides. She currently works as a full-time accountant, a full-time mother, and a working artist. She began writing at the tender age of 4 years old. When other children were playing with their dolls, Katrina would sit in the corner with her notepad and pencil. She has written many songs, poems and short stories as a personal hobby. She was a part of a rap group called “The Commission” while in college. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Business and a MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, but notes writing as her first love. She released her first publication At Odds with God in 2010. She acknowledges that without the influence of life experience writing is just words. With the support of family and friends Katrina finds courage and inspiration to publish the intricacies of her vivid imagination for all to enjoy.
