About
James L. Adams Jr.

About the Author I have been writing short stories since 1977 back in Jackson. Mississippi. At first, my Aunt Thelma J. Watson was an English teacher at Vicksburg High School and she had a profound influence on my writing in concert with my mother and her superb oratory skills and achievements. I realized at an early age that I had the ability to draw from line-of-sight. However it was not until much later in life that I enhanced my ability to write. After years of denying this talent in exchange for pursuing more practical corporate endeavors, I realized after The Great Recession of 2008 that the only true talent I had beyond making money for others though the pressures of corporate life was my expression. It was the one and only thing that gave me true fulfillment beyond the scope of purchasing tangibles just to remain important in society. I had come to the realization that my age was a measure of my competency in the corporate world, but remained a non- factor in my creative life
