John is a native born Floridian with a beautiful wife and two amazing daughters. He has a passion for epilepsy awareness and a new found love of running. He went to college at Florida Atlantic University, earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Masters degree in Law Enforcement Intelligence Public Safety & Security from Florida State University. He lives his life through his faith in GOD and belief in himself. He encourages others in their accomplishments whenever he can. He participates in social media in groups that challenge his goals of running and epilepsy advocacy. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters and parents. John likes to work his brain often with puzzles and games; he is a bit of a math geek. He has come to realize that life is precious and every moment matters. He believes, “if you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, change direction or turn the corner. You may just find the light in an unexpected way”.
