I was born and raised in the Northwest U.S.A. and have been married to my wife Carol K. since 1958. Although I attended elementary and high school in Oregon, I received college degrees from the Universities of California at Los Angeles and Fresno. My wife and I were baptized together in a river south of Monmouth, Oregon; and have been Christians since 1975.
