I am a good, ole girl from the red, clay land near the Guilford and Randolph County lines in NC. I spend a great deal of time on a NC barrier island named, Oak Island. I write what I know and what I feel! I have very few regrets about my life. I have chosen what I lived and I have lived what I have choosen. I taught preschool where I learned teaching is 10% academics and 90% drama. After my son was born and my stepdaughter came into my life I returned to College at the age of 35 where I seem to be destined to be a permanent student. I study English, Education and Socialogy and have a few important letters that I can tack onto my name when I feel like it. I love to volunteer with organizations that reach urban children who need tutoring or a listening ear. I love humor and storytelling which is a staple among my siblings and cousins. I find my strength in my Christian beliefs after years of trying to run from them. I am a Happy Camper and a decent author.
