I'm a professor of social work with many interests like photography, writing,horses, being outside, gardening, cooking, throwing parties, music, theater, visual art, and much more. I spent my early years pretty much as I spend my later years--doing what interests me and enjoying the company of witty, interesting people. I write about a lot of things but mostly I celebrate the wonderful things about being alive and do what I can to change the things that make life difficult for others.
