Joanna Grace Reyes is an Olympic Marathon Trials 2020 finisher. She ran cross country and track in high school and cross country at San Jose State University. At the age of 22, she completed her first marathon. Her breakthrough was the 2017 Los Angeles Marathon, where she ran a personal best of 2:37, placed 1st American female and 4th overall female. Joanna graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from Loma Linda University in 2019. She runs to experience freedom, exhilaration, and peace; become stronger in mind and body; redefine her limits; feel what it’s like to fly; and inspire others to believe in themselves, work hard, and dream big!
