I'm a man who has lived many different lives. I watched my mother drown at the age of four, which left me with a severe stutter. From that day on I watched her drown each night in my dreams. By the age of ten I started using alcohol and drugs to induce deep sleep. By High School I had used every drug I could get my hands on. When I found Methamphetamine I thought I had the answer to my problems. Of course, whenever long term drug use is a part of a persons life, everything else falls apart. I failed in all my relationships, which included my children Sarah, Misty, and Dalton. Meeting Antoinette was the defining moment in my life. Every tragedy, broken heart, jail sentence, and prison term were steps leading me straight into her heart. She is my best friend, my lover, my therapist, and the mother of my youngest daughter Michaela. She was also the one who convinced me to write, which saved my life. I hope my poetry touches your heart and dances with your soul.
