Kenneth Spencer is a keen amateur musician. He has played the guitar in bands and solo since age 11, and also plays keyboards, piano, and pipe and electronic organs. He is also a fervent supporter of the concept of the Virtual Pipe Organ. The Hauptwerk virtual organ software enables pipe organs of every type, size and age to be played in their original acoustic, but in the home. As well as his musical interest, Kenneth has been interested in electronics since he was at school. Since the 1970s, when microelectronic computer components became available, he has built and programmed many kinds of computer for a wide variety of applications.
