Kevin Ambrose is the author of four weather books, two books about the Knickerbocker Snowstorm, a Civil War book, and a photography book showcasing the seasons in D.C. He holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Virginia and is an account executive for Adobe. Ambrose's interests include photography, history, weather forecasting, archaeology, and running. Ambrose has contributed to the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang since 2008 as a freelance writer and photographer, with articles on weather, storm chasing, insects, and a cherry tree named Stumpy.
