Samuel LaRay Hamilton is known by hundreds of thousands worldwide as an inspirational hip hop artist, songwriter, and minister, that goes by the name of King General and formerly known as Yung 101. Samuel (King General) was born in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri and was raised in the Cochran Garden Projects, one of the most notorious and dangerous neighborhoods in Saint Louis. King grew up in the Cochran with his six brothers and his single mother. He was introduced to a street life of gang violence and drug dealing at an early age and dropped out of high school at the age of 14. In the year of 2005, King dedicated his life to his faith, and from the age of 19, he has traveled to many cities across America to inspire people through his art of music and to evangelize the name of his Lord and Savior Yahshua Messiah (Jesus the Christ), to as many people that he can reach with the sound doctrine and good news of the Bible. King’s purpose and mission is to convert the hearers of souls everywhere to the Abrahamic and Hebraic faith that is mentioned and taught within the holy scriptures through the message of repentance and forgiveness of sins and true submission to the Elohim of Israel, YHWH, pronounced Yahwah, in hopes that many would give glory and true worship to the One and Only Creator by practicing and obeying the laws of Moses and the instructions of the holy Bible wholeheartedly.
