Joel lives with his lovely wife, and two boys in Southwest Colorado. With five novels to his own credit, Joel devotes most of his literary time reading novel submissions to JournalStone Publishing, a San Francisco based company. As Senior Acquisitions Editor for JS, Joel is the first contact for many authors who wish to be published in the Horror, Sci Fi, Fantasy and YA genres. Joel also manages the annual Horror Writing contest and occasional short-story contests.
