Ki Wa Tong was born and raised in Hong Kong. He is a scholar-practitioner of Buddhism and Taoism, as well as an entrepreneur, inventor, kendoist, metal artisan, and robotics developer. Tong is the founder and director of 2 technology companies: Fami3D and FamiPlanter Limited. He is also the inventor of 8 patents granted across the globe. His distinguished inventions include the Automated Fogponic Grow Box and Adjustable Grow Box Supporting Device. Tong attained his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Wollongong in 2005 and his master’s degree in Sinology at the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2007.
