Hello Book Lovers! Thank you for visiting my Spotlight Page. Here you’ll find my published books as well as upcoming projects I’m excited to share. My writing journey began with my first children’s book, Potty Troubles for the Doubles. This light-hearted story follows the adventures of stubborn three-year-old twins navigating the ups and downs of potty training. The story was inspired by my own experience raising my twins, Tony and Kavailah, who are now 18. Writing this book was a joyful experience, and it continues to bring smiles to young readers and parents alike. I later expanded my storytelling with Ava’s Brave World, a heartfelt story about an 11-year-old girl navigating everyday life with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The book is dedicated to my daughter Kemiah, who has ASD. Ava’s journey celebrates individuality, resilience, and the beauty of embracing who you are. Parents, educators, caregivers, and anyone whose life has been touched by autism can connect with Ava’s inspiring story. My newest book, Built to Rise: Reinvent Yourself Without Starting Over, focuses on leadership and career growth. Drawing from more than two decades of professional experience, the book offers a framework for professionals who want to expand their influence and reinvent their path without abandoning the foundation they’ve already built. Thank you for being part of my journey. — Kathy Richardson
