Thomas Langtry earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from California State University, Sacramento in 1992. He spent the next decade working in the financial districts of Sacramento and San Francisco. After earning a Certificate in Technical Writing in 1999 and a Certificate to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages in 2001, he left the United States to travel throughout Europe, where he served as an English instructor while living in Germany, before returning to the United States. Thomas earned his Master of Arts Degree in Education in Sacramento in 2013. He was recently employed as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Zirve University in Turkey. Currently, ho owns and operates Education Associates, LP in Sacramento, CA. His book, Relevance of the Liberal Arts in 21st Century Academics, was featured in the New Title Showcase at the 2018 BookExpoAmerica in New York City.
