Laurent Poliquin is an Employment counsellor and Employer Liaison Officer for a non-profit organization in Winnipeg, Canada. He is President of the Federal Association of the Green Party of Canada for the riding of Saint-Boniface - Saint-Vital and a research associate at the University of Ottawa's Centre de recherche sur les francophonies canadiennes. Laurent Poliquin is recognized as an expert in his field, as evidenced by his collaborations with Canadian and foreign universities; his participation in knowledge dissemination activities; and his media appearances. He is the author of some twenty books (some of which have won awards). Recent publications include Les foudres du silence : l'estomac fragile de la littérature francophone au Canada (Harmattan, 2019), L'ivresse fragile de l'aube (Harmattan, 2021), Le petit bruit du poème (Blé, 2022), L'acharnement des ruines (Les impliqués, 2023), and a practical book Le guide ultime pour réussir sa recherche d'emploi au Canada : tous les secrets pour les nouveaux arrivants (Primo mobile, 2024).
