Denis Lawrence is a qualified teacher, educational psychologist, university lecturer and author. Among his publications are books for teachers and parents. His classic book Enhancing Self-esteem in The Classroom, was written 27 years ago but is still in print and remains a best seller achieving world-wide acclaim. The 3rd edition of this book has been translated into Japanese, Polish and Thai. Denis has now decided that he would like to focus on writing books for the general public. The first book published in this vein, Happiness Makes You Healthy, was written jointly with his wife, Anne. Denis and Anne had dual citizenship in Australia and the United KIngdom. They spend 6 months of each year in Cornwall, England and in Perth, Western Australia.
