About
Logic Press
Logic Press (www.logicpress.ie) publishes good books related to Mathematics. The catalogue has books suitable for talented secondary-school students, and undergraduate and postgraduate university texts and monographs on mathematics. Our most successful title has been the Irish Mathematical Olympiad Manual. Since 2014, we have published a few titles that were not mathematics, but just related to mathematics. Of these, the most successful was the autobiography of the famous mathematician Walter Hayman. We continue to publish mainstream mathematics, including texts on analysis, algebra and geometry, but are pleased and to have had the chance to publish work on the calendar and on philosophy of science. An exciting development is the publication, beginning in 2019, of some books by the Cork maestro, Des MacHale . We are also delighted to have signed that other tireless apostle for Mathematics, Peter Lynch. Our separate Less Serious Division (www.logicpress.ie/LS/) publishes books that have little or nothing to do with Mathematics, including titles in fiction, humour, word puzzles , and mischief.
