Hailing from Upstate Michigan, Lois Corcoran wrote a weekly humor column for Great Lakes Area newspapers for 18 years, and published a number of articles in Practical Homeschooling magazine. She lives with her husband, Dan, and their cat, Chubbers, and is learning the banjo.
