Mario dos Ventos is an author whose work bridges scholarship and lived tradition, rooted in Afro-Brazilian religion, folk sorcery, and ancestral devotion. Grounded in respect for spirits and communities, he carries forward entrusted knowledge with integrity. He has initiated people into Quimbanda in the UK and US, helping establish the tradition abroad. Though he no longer takes godchildren or clients, his focus remains on education, sharing history, philosophy, and practice with those who wish to learn respectfully.
