Marjorie Rodman was born and raised in Southern California. In 1974, she and her husband moved to the mountains of Jefferson County, Colorado, where they lived on his family homestead with their two children. After working in Colorado Springs public schools for several years, she and her husband accepted jobs in Germany with the U. S. Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS). They retired in North Carolina after twenty-one years in Europe. Marjorie has been writing about family history since 2005. Her articles have appeared in the Jefferson County (Colorado) Historical Commission’s magazine, "Historically Jeffco," and The Pierce Arrow Society’s "Arrow."
