A writer, journalist and perpetual fight-finisher, he grew up in Norfolk with his ex-Navy medic dad and ex-Navy, pharmacy-technician-turned-high-flying-executive mother. He was bullied into incoherent sobbing for most of his school days before learning how to throw a punch and, even better, a barbed word. He is a journalist, writer and editorial consultant for hire.
