Mina MK Larsen has won and been published in Sibyl's Scriptorium, both for poetry and a short story. She has been writing since she was thirteen years old when a teacher at her school gave her a random photo to write a story based on. Though she is a fast-learner, Mina continues to work to improve her writing. Mina is an ambitious young writer who is very out-spoken and independent. She is outgoing, but always loves a night to herself just to write or draw. Mina has many hobbies other than writing and drawing, such as singing and acting, but also stranger hobbies such as repainting dolls and collecting glass soda bottles. Mina was born in Utah, but two months after being born her family moved to rural Idaho. She lived in Idaho until she was thirteen, moving eight times during that time. She has been raised to be strong, both physically and mentally, by the help of her older brothers and single mother.
