Nadège Lepoittevin is a food explorer and cultural researcher based in Cape Town, South Africa, with over two decades of field research across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean. She is the founder of Cook & Connect, a South African production company, and a member of the Explorers Club. Her work documents the culinary knowledge that lives in communities, kitchens, and hands before it disappears. What the Hands Remember is her first published collection of field research.
