When I'm not writing, I'm busy being a normal grandmother. I live in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa with my husband of 35 years John. Our children, Sean and Mary are grown. We have two granddaughters, Katelyn and January who keep us busy as well as black Lab Lady and tabby cat Sissy. I enjoy quilting, sewing, reading and walking our dog. Living in a rural community sparked my interest in writing as so many things happen around me and my imagination peeked to intertwine the real with fiction to create stories.
