Who am I, you ask? I am a child of God; I am Christian, I know my heart is right, and I am ready to go Home, as soon as Jesus calls me to go. I was a wife; now I am his widow. I'm a mother; a daughter; a niece; a cousin; a sister; a grandmother; a sister in law; I love my brother-in- laws as if we were if the same family blood line - I am their sister, they are my brothers. my whole life. I am a mother in law; a researcher; a writer; a genealogist; a transcriber. I'm your distant relative; your next door neighbor. I can be an ear to listen; a shoulder to cry on. I'm a dreamer; I can be your teacher; or your student. I can represent a hope; or a dream. I am a friend. I have an old soul, or so I've been told. I have a passion for everything old. Antiques, genealogy, old photos, old coins, old books, old times, old cars, old gravestones, old courthouse basements with that distinct, musty smell of withering paper- things that written so many years ago, that time seems to have forgotten about, old houses....
