About the Author With roots stemming from the soil of Oxford, NC and raised in the New England territory of Waterbury, CT, B. Nathaniel Smith is an educator and published author. He pursued his B.A. in Political Science/Pre-Law and his M.A. in Secondary Education (History) degrees from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, VA. He received an M.A. in Education (Administration and Supervision) from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ. He pursued his Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, Orlando, FL. He is the proud father of a teenage son. In his spare time, B.
